Kamal bin Daud is a friend and colleague of ours. He works as a driver cum despatch clerk in our organization. Kamal got married four years ago and is blessed with a baby boy, Aiman, who is one and a half years old.

Kamal has always suffered from high blood pressure and also high urea content. This is because both of Kamal's kidneys were not functioning properly. His illness however was controlled with medication but unfortunately due to the wear and tear of the tissues, Kamal's kidneys are now failing. At the present moment, he has to undergo frequent dialysis treatments to clean the urea content in his body but the doctors have warned him that his kidneys will only last a year more.

This means that he urgently requires a kidney transplant operation. To undergo this operation, and to provide for post-operative care, including anti-rejection drugs, Kamal needs RM 100 000. Unfortunately Kamal neither has the money or a donor to carry out this operation.

We are now appealing to anyone out there. If you are able to help Kamal in any way - be it through donations, or if you know of organ availability or if you know which is the most suitable place to have the surgery done - kindly post your notes on this website.
